Established in 1972, Desperation Ridge Farm’s original home was in Scarborough, Maine. But before long, we (Bill and Linda Fuller) realized we were rapidly outgrowing our 40 acre farm and in 1984 moved to Buxton where we currently farm over 300 acres. Here we have successfully produced top quality timothy for horses, alpacas, llamas and mulch hay used for organic farming, construction sites and road work. Our hay crop is produced on seeded, fertilized and limed hayfields. We pride ourselves on producing weed free, 1st, 2nd and 3rd crop hay and our crops are immediately stored in one of our four barns to guarantee pristine storage conditions. Our bales are a manageable 35-40 lbs. and can be delivered and put away for you.
